Agreement

maisonassam.com is run by ASSAM JEWELRY SARL, a company in Beni Mellal, Morocco. Maison Assam is our brand. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before you buy.

Products

  • Our pieces are designed in 3D, cast in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold, and finished by hand in our workshop in Beni Mellal, Morocco.
  • Photos show the design. Because every piece is finished by hand, small differences in color, texture, weight and size are normal.
  • Natural stones (for example turquoise, agate and onyx) vary in color and pattern. Each stone is unique.
  • Metal weights are approximate and change with the ring size.

Prices

  • Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert them to your currency.
  • Prices include shipping. For the United States, they also include import duties. For other countries, import taxes are paid on delivery (see our Shipping policy).
  • We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect an order you have already placed.
  • Custom designs are priced with an individual quote.

Orders

  • Pieces from our shop are paid in full when you order. If you pay by bank transfer, we start making your piece when we receive the money.
  • Custom orders need a 50% deposit to start. You pay the rest when the piece is finished, before we ship it.
  • For custom orders, we make the piece only after you approve the design. After you approve it, the order cannot be cancelled.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud or cannot make the piece. In that case we refund you in full.

Payment

  • We accept PayPal (with a PayPal account or a card) and bank transfer.
  • Card payments are handled by PayPal. We never see your full card number.

Intellectual property

  • All designs, images, texts and content on maisonassam.com belong to Maison Assam.
  • You may not copy or use our content without our written permission.
  • A custom design made for you is for your personal use. We may show photos of custom work in our portfolio, without your name, unless you ask us not to.

Limitation of liability

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control.
  • Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the piece.
  • If you have a known allergy to a metal or stone, please contact us before you order.
  • Nothing in these terms removes the rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. This does not remove the protection you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
