Terms of Service

### Agreement

By placing an order on atlasjewelry.ma, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

### Products

- All products are handcrafted by artisans in Beni Mellal, Morocco.
- Product images are representative. Due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces, slight variations in color, texture, weight, and dimensions are normal and considered part of the character of the piece.
- Natural gemstones (turquoise, agate, onyx) vary in color and pattern. Each stone is unique.
- Metal weights listed are approximate and may vary by ring size.

### Pricing

- All prices are listed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) unless otherwise indicated.
- Prices include VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
- Custom order pricing is quoted individually based on design complexity, metal type, and gemstone requirements.

### Orders

- An order is confirmed once payment is received in full (or 50% deposit for custom orders).
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud or if the order cannot be fulfilled.
- For custom orders, production begins only after you approve the design mockup. Once approved, the order cannot be cancelled.

### Payment

- We accept payment via Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards), PayPal, and bank transfer.
- Custom orders require a 50% deposit to begin production. The remaining 50% is due before shipment.
- All payments are processed securely through Shopify's PCI-compliant payment system.

### Intellectual Property

- All designs, images, text, and content on atlasjewelry.ma are the property of Atlas Jewelry.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
- Custom designs created for you are for your personal use. We retain the right to use anonymized images of custom work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise.

### Limitation of Liability

- Atlas Jewelry is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, or events beyond our control.
- Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item in question.
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions to metals or stones. If you have known allergies, please consult with us before ordering.

### Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Beni Mellal, Morocco.

## How to Add These in Shopify

1. Go to **Shopify Admin > Settings > Policies**
2. You will see fields for:
   - Refund policy
   - Privacy policy
   - Terms of service
   - Shipping policy
3. Paste each policy into its corresponding field
4. Replace `[your email]` with your actual email address
5. Click **Save**

The policies will automatically:
- Appear as links in your footer (already configured)
- Be accessible at /policies/shipping-policy, /policies/refund-policy, etc.
- Be legally referenced during checkout

## Footer Navigation Menus to Create

In **Shopify Admin > Online Store > Navigation**, create a footer menu with these links:

**Footer Menu:**
- Shop All → /collections/all
- Custom Jewelry → /pages/design-your-custom-jewelry
- Our Craft → /pages/our-craft (if exists)
- About Atlas → /pages/about
- Contact Us → /pages/contact
- Shipping Policy → /policies/shipping-policy
- Returns & Refunds → /policies/refund-policy
- Privacy Policy → /policies/privacy-policy
- Terms of Service → /policies/terms-of-service

Then in the theme customizer, add a footer block with this menu.
