At Maison Assam we draw your idea in 3D, send you 3D renders (pictures of your 3D design) to approve, then 3D-print a model, cast it in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold, and finish it by hand in our own workshop in Beni Mellal, Morocco. What can you send us?
Almost any idea can become a ring, a pendant or a signet ring. You can send us:
- a drawing on paper, even a rough one,
- a photo of an old family piece you want to remake,
- a logo, a family crest or initials,
- a child's drawing or a loved one's handwriting,
- a name, a date or a short phrase in any language and alphabet, for example English, Arabic or Tifinagh (Amazigh) letters.
We use your idea as a starting point and create an original design for you.
Step 1: Tell us your idea and pay the deposit
Send us your idea through our custom design page, by email at contact@maisonassam.com or on WhatsApp at +212 621 357 885. Tell us what you want (a ring, pendant or signet ring), the metal and your ring size if you know it. We reply with a price. To start, you pay a 50% deposit. You pay the other 50% before we ship.
Step 2: We design your piece in 3D (3–7 working days)
Our designer models your piece in 3D on the computer: the shape, the thickness, the depth of every line and every letter. When the first design is ready, we send you 3D renders (pictures of the 3D design). You can ask for changes, for example bigger letters, a thinner band or a different symbol. Changes are free until you are happy. We only make your piece after you approve the design.
Step 3: We 3D-print a model and cast it in metal
When you approve the design, we 3D-print an exact model of your piece. In our own workshop we use this model to cast your piece in 925 sterling silver or 18K gold. Because the model comes from the 3D file, the metal piece has the same shape and the same letters that you approved.
Step 4: We finish it by hand
A cast piece comes out rough. Our craftspeople finish it by hand: they clean the metal, sharpen the fine details and, where needed, correct small casting marks with hand engraving tools. If your design needs it, they darken the background (oxidizing) so the letters stand out, then polish the piece.
Step 5: Delivery to your door
We ship with Aramex express. Delivery takes about 10–15 working days to the USA, Europe and the UK, and every parcel is tracked and insured. Shipping is included in the price. For the USA, we also pay the import duties, so you pay nothing at the door. In Europe and the UK, you pay your country's import VAT on delivery. All the details are in our shipping policy.

How much does a custom ring cost?
Custom rings in 925 sterling silver start at $350, shipping included. The final price depends on:
- the size and weight of the piece (a wide signet uses more metal than a thin band),
- the amount of detail in the design,
- the metal: 18K gold is priced on quote,
- stones, if your design has them.
We always give you the price before you pay anything.
Why see a 3D design before your piece is made?
- No surprises: you see the shape, the size of the letters and the details before any metal is used.
- Correct names and letters: names in Arabic, Tifinagh or other alphabets are easy to get wrong. You check the letters before we cast them.
- Free changes: it is much easier to change a 3D file than a finished piece.

Can I change the design after I approve it?
No. After you approve the 3D design, we start making your piece, so the order cannot be changed or cancelled. That is why we let you ask for as many changes as you need before you approve.
Can you copy a ring from another brand?
We do not copy other brands' designs. Send us the photo anyway: we will create an original design inspired by what you like.
I don't know my ring size. What should I do?
Use the size guide on any ring page, or choose "Not sure". We help you find your size before we make your ring.
Can you write my name in Arabic, Tifinagh or another language?
Yes, in any language you want. We prepare your name in the 3D design and you approve the letters before we make the piece.
Where is my piece made?
